Jin Shin Jyutsu® (JSJ) is an Ancient Japanese Art of harmonizing the energy within the body. It is a subtle, yet very powerful. It can help you overcome most common ailments and diseases, while also restoring the delicate balance between your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
The therapist gently places their hands on specific points on your clothed body. It’s not a massage but it feels like one. As the tension fades away, a unique sense of self-awareness emerges, a complete integration of mind and body. The experience is both energising and deeply relaxing.
People with mental or physical disabilities as well as people with sensory impairments can truly benefit from this art of healing through touch. It is great for everyone, adult or child.
JSJ is an effective and safe therapy that harnesses your body’s power to heal itself. Each session lasts 60 minutes but the benefits last much, much longer. And after each treatment, you are given some simple exercises that can help you prolong the healing effects of the therapy. The core of Jin Shin Jyutsu is self-help: it was designed for self-application and you can learn it very easily and gradually as you practice it.
After the treatment we tend to have a chat for a few minutes in which I offer practical tips. Expect to be in the treatment room for around 75-80 minutes.
