Caroline Cunliffe

Counselling

Caroline is a Humanistic Counsellor and a Registered Member of the BACP.

Her work with clients is based on the foundation of Person-Centred Theory, which encourages the client and their process to be the focus. However, she works integratively and will draw on a range of counselling modalities in order to best support clients and their individual needs.

Caroline understands and appreciates the importance of having a Counsellor that clients feel comfortable with, and the ‘right fit’, is important for the work to begin and the relationship of trust to grow.

Caroline has a friendly and approachable nature that helps clients to ease slowly into the space. This encourages clients to feel safe and comfortable and allows them to begin and work through issues at their own pace. The work may involve looking at the past, present or future, depending on the client’s needs and agenda. This process and the emotions that come through may be

painful and even evoke unwanted feelings or emotions. This is where Caroline will walk alongside clients, giving them space and empathy to help them work with their inner strength, to encourage growth and change.

Caroline offers short and long-term Counselling and has experience working with both adults and young people. She can support clients experiencing a range of issues such as; Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, self-harm, addictions, trauma, bereavement.
