Amanda Munday

Amanda has an MA in Core Process psychotherapy and is a registered member of UKCP.

Amanda worked in the travel industry for 30 years, up until she had her daughter in 2006.

Always having had a keen interest in psychology and having experienced the life-changing process of psychotherapy herself, she wanted to be able to make a difference to others who were finding life incredibly tough and needing support.

Amanda began volunteering with the homeless project in her local community and witnessed the suffering of those who had very little in material assets and were struggling with their mental health. At a deeper level, Amanda sensed a profound need for human connection that was fundamental to their survival, and found she was able to relate to them and meet them in that place. Amanda’s passion for this work was the catalyst in making the decision to complete the 4-year training to qualify as a psychotherapist.

Amanda is currently working towards accreditation with UKCP in July 2022.

Amanda works with a broad range of issues including anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, childhood trauma, anger, grief, and sexuality and gender identity.
